We welcome your donation
Donations gratefully accepted at The Clothes Line stores. We ask that you please call ahead before making your donation to ensure that we are not full (for safety reasons) and our staff are able to handle all incoming items.
Drop-offs at our Alliston location are accepted at the back entrance of The Clothes Line via Dickson Lane (off Wellington Street behind the Dr Kula dentist office). during regular store hours. Please do not leave items outside. All items that are wet, must be disposed of.

Please keep in mind the quality and resale value of the goods you are donating. If you are unable to sell an item at a garage sale or wouldn’t give it to a friend or a family member, we probably won’t be able to sell it!

Items we cannot accept
We appreciate your generosity and goodwill, however any donations that we are unable to use waste valuable volunteer time and resources on sorting through and disposing of items that cannot be sold. We can not accept these items:
- Toys
- Computers, monitors, or printers
- VHS or cassette tapes
- Construction items, motors, or paint
- Food or medicine
- Infants cars seats or cribs
- Large furniture
- Major appliances
- Mattresses or box springs
- Televisions
- Tires or rims
- Toilets or sinks
