The services, resources and programs that CONTACT Community Services provides are vital to our communities. Over 75% of our team members are volunteers, who offer their talents and experience to fill the many different roles needed to help make our mission successful! The people on our team are from all different walks of life, and we are so fortunate to learn from each other.
My name is Linda Spurr, and I am the Volunteer Coordinator at CONTACT Community Services. Through my own volunteering, I have learned the substantial impact that volunteers make in a community, and I am very excited to lead the expansion of our valued team!
We volunteer to help others, but did you know that volunteering also benefits you, as well?
Volunteering with CONTACT offers opportunities to meet new people in your community, learn and improve your work skills in a supportive work environment, make business connections, and make new friends!
Dillon has been volunteering with CONTACT at The Clothes Line Store since 2022. Here is what he has to say: “Volunteering at The Clothes Line has been one of the most fulfilling experiences of my life. It’s my way of giving back and much more than just simply supporting others, it means that I am uplifting entire communities, which The Clothes Line (CONTACT) wholeheartedly tries to accomplish.”
