THE GRAND PARADE 2024!

WHO DOESN’T LOVE PARADE?

CONTACT Community Services is gearing up for our second annual Grand Parade fundraiser on Saturday, September 21st!  The Grand Parade is a national family friendly fundraising walk, taking place in Alliston (Banting Memorial High School Track) and Bradford West Gwillimbury (100 Dissette Street.)

WHY ARE WE WALKING?

At CONTACT Community Services, we know that seniors are the heart of the community. Over the last few years, a light has been shone on the struggles that many seniors in our community face. The high cost of living, isolation, loneliness, and loss have been brought to the forefront with an eye opening and startling realization- seniors need support.  CONTACT Community Services has a plan. We are raising funds to be able to assist those in our community with costs to support independent living and quality of life. We are helping, but the need is greater than what we can do alone.

With your support of The Grand Parade, we can assist our seniors through financial crisis, transportation supports, free community programs and learning seminars.

Together, we can make a seniors’ life brighter, happier, and more inclusive.  When we do this, everyone in our community benefits- caregivers, grandchildren and friends.

GATHER YOUR COWORKERS, FRIENDS AND FAMILY AND JOIN US!

This family friendly fundraiser walk is guaranteed to be a hoot!  Join us on September 21st for live music, complimentary BBQ and family fun!  Prizes will be awarded for Most Raised as a Team, Most Raised as an Individual and Best Team Spirit (get those costumes ready!)
