This position includes the following duties:
- Maintain HOS log books and other appropriate paperwork in a timely manner
- Load and unload customers in wheelchairs
- Tie down wheelchairs in bus following Voyageur Transportation procedures
- Help to co-ordinate and maintain a regular schedule of shifts
- Process and complete any needed reports or communications between VTS and Bradford Transit
- Able to help maintain an ongoing inventory of needed supplies
- Perform or co-ordinate the necessary fueling and washing of all vehicles
- Assist with any needed training and orientation of new hires
- Assist with the scheduling and delivery of any vehicles requiring mechanical
- maintenance with an approved vendor
- Immediately report any accident or incident involving a VTS vehicle
- To be available on an on call basis to handle any unforeseen event or emergency that may transpire during unscheduled hours

Requirements
Candidates should ideally demonstrate the following:
- Posses a minimum 'B' license. Applicants with a “G” license will be considered but must be able to upgrade to an 'B' class license
- Posses clean drivers abstract and obtain a recent copy for a driver file
- Display safe and defensive driving techniques.
- Ability to work independently.
- Demonstrate excellent customer service skills
- Have a sound knowledge of the City of Bradford
- Be available to work flexible hours.
- Sound knowledge of MS Office specifically Word, Excel and Outlook
