Job Description:

Position Title: Electromechanical Technician Position Summary: Performs maintenance duties required in order to maintain production equipment in a manufacturing environment. Pay Structure: Tech 1: $22.40-$25.55 per hour plus premiums Tech 2: $25.50-$28.65 per hour plus premiums Hours of Work: 4 Positions Available Straight Midnights: (11:00PM to 7:00AM) Position Responsibilities: - Perform highly diversified duties to repair and maintain automated production equipment - Diagnose problems, replace or repair parts, detect and replace defective parts, test and make adjustments to automated production equipment - Perform regular preventative maintenance on machines and equipment - Use a variety of hand and power tools - Use of programmable logic control systems (PLC’s) to program and troubleshoot automated equipment - Use of robotic systems to program and troubleshoot - Other duties as assigned to ensure up-time of automated production equipment, etc Qualifications: - Diploma in Electrical, Mechanical or Robotics field, and 2-3+ years related experience - Follow all safety requirements of the company �“ PPE, (hat, glasses, steel-toed boots, uniform, hearing protection, gloves, etc.), safe job behaviors - Experience in trouble shooting and equipment maintenance of electoral, mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic and robotics problems on automated equipment - Regularly required to lift up to 50 lbs - Ability to read and understand Operations Standards, blueprints, maintenance and equipment manuals, etc. - PLC programming experience highly desirable - Experience in setup and troubleshooting of MIG and resistance weld systems.
